HOTS Companion app for iPhone and iPad

HOTS Companion helps players of the game "Heroes of the Storm" to optimize their performance in hero- and team league by displaying aggregated information on your iPhone or iPad during draft and while playing the game, avoiding the need to Alt-Tab to a browser out of the running game.

After selecting a map, the app presents a list of all heroes, grouped by their role, and sorted by either map win rate, popularity (both from Hotslogs.com) or community score (from heroescounters.com). In addition to those stats, for each hero a list of other heroes which counter this hero is displayed, as well as a list of heroes that this hero counters. Alltogether this allows for an optimal hero selection.

After a hero has been selected, a user-customizable list of talent builds is presented, containing builds collected from various community web sites as well as the build with the highest current win rate for a given map and hero from Hotslogs.com. User-defined builds can also be created. This may come in handy for heroes which are rarely played.

After a talent build has been selected, a new screen containing info about map objectives, and various timers is presented together with the previously selected talent build. Map objective timers alert the user 30 and 10 seconds prior to the in-game alerts, allowing for more time to prepare like hearthing back in order to enter the fight for map objectives with full health and mana. On some maps like Blackhearts Bay, map objective timers can be especially useful, because spawning of the treasure chests isnt announced by the game.
